Surah Baqarah verse 45

And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allāh]

Salah is the barometer of one's personality- Like a barometer is used to measure the atmospheric pressure; it can even forecast short term changes in atmospheric pressure, The same with salah it determines even short term changes in our state of faith

If we want to check our state of Iman- check our salah
