Arise and Warn

Surah Al-Muzzammil taught us how to strengthen our link with Allah (s.w.t) - by reading the Quran slowly in the hours of the night. Today, surah Al-Muddaththir gave us the next step - to Arise and warn. To come into action and start doing work.

قَالُوا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ

They will say, "We were not of those who prayed
..."[
Al-Muddaththir: 43]

Where neglecting 'Salah' could take us

Each soul is held in pledge for what (evil deeds that) it earns, Except those on the right, (They will be placed) in Paradise (full of bounty); and they will ask one another, About (the destiny of) the sinners, (After seeing the sinners, they will say): “What has brought you into Hell named Saqar?” The guilty ones will reply: “We were not among those who pray; Nor did we feed the poor; And we used to be engaged in vain and mistaken disputes together with those who did so; And we used to deny the Day of Judgment.... [ Al-Muddththir: 38-46]
From these ayahs we come to know the reasons why these people were made to dwell in hell. It is not 'Kufr' or 'Shirk' but they were people who didn't do 'Amal'(good deeds). It is really scary to know the outcome of ignoring prayers. It is rightly said, 'The difference between a Kaafir (disbeliever) and a Momin (believer) is 'SALAH'
